The section in Qinghai Province of the Golmud-Korla High-Speed Railway, the building of which was participated by several CREC subsidiaries, opened on  28 Nov 2019 XINING -- A new railway linking Dunhuang city, Northwest China's Gansu province, and Golmud city, Northwest China's Qinghai province,  18 Mar 2021 Golmud airport is 12 kilometers in the south of the city. The only way to get to the airport is by taxi. It costs about 15 yuan.
